Moisture & drying calculator
Two quick checks for paddy trading: the weight you should end up with after drying, and the moisture your drying records imply.

Formula: dry matter = weight × (1 − moisture). Dry matter stays constant through drying except for handling losses.
How to use it
A answers "how much should I get back?" — enter the wet weight and intake moisture, the moisture you're drying to (usually 14%), and any cleaning or handling loss.
B answers "what was the moisture really?" — enter a drying batch's weight in, weight out and final moisture. If the answer is far above what your meter read at intake, the meter may be reading low on wet paddy. Why this happens and what to do →
